Company history



 

1990

Tateossian Limited is formed in London, in November, by Robert Tateossian.

 

1991

The first men’s collection is launched at SEHM International Trade Show in Paris and Barneys New York immediately orders the collection.

1994

Tateossian introduces the watch cufflinks which instantly become a global hit. The brand is awarded the British Fashion Export Award and a global distribution network is achieved by way of 12 trade shows per season.

1996

Tateossian wins The Greatest Hits of the Year Award, presented by Begin Magazine, Tokyo.

1997

Tateossian is presented with the Global Award for Design at the International Marketing Show in Cannes, France.

1999

Tateossian opens a showroom in New York, on Fifth Avenue.

2000

Tateossian opens the first corner concept in Hong Kong, at Lane Crawford.

2001

The company is awarded the British Fashion Export Award for the second time. The flagship store concept is opened in the exclusive Royal Exchange, in the City of London. The shop-in-shop concept is opened at Ships, in Shibuya and Ginza, Tokyo.

2004

Tateossian opens a second flagship store, on London’s King’s Road and moves its current headquarters to Imperial Wharf, in London’s Chelsea Harbour.

2006

Tateossian is awarded the British Fashion Export Award for the third time. The company opens a corner site within Harvey Nichols Department Store, in London. A stand-alone store in opened in Orchard Road, Singapore.

2007

Tateossian opens a corner site within Tsum Department Store, Moscow.
